I'm Domenic, and concrete is in my roots. It's a part of my earliest childhood memories. I've earned a BFA at Arcadia and an MFA at Tyler. Studying my craft inspired me to explore concrete in my personal work. Through these experiences, I've learned the best way to use concrete. It's an important tradition we share. D'Andrea Concrete Design is my artistic legacy to share with you.

The D’Andrea family business has been contracting concrete for generations. I'm Domenic, and concrete is in my roots. It's a part of my earliest childhood memories. My experiences have inspired an appreciation for the material's utilitarian function, and limitless aesthetic beauty. I've earned a BFA at Arcadia and an MFA at Tyler. Studying my craft inspired me to explore concrete in my personal work; even in my jewelry designs. Through these experiences, I've learned the best way to use concrete - sharing an intimate relationship with a material that has shaped our history, through everyday use and interaction. Concrete is an important tradition we share.
D'Andrea Concrete Design is my artistic legacy to share with you.

my CREDENTIALS

Every product produced starts with an idea. No matter the complexity, these ideas are brought to life through a photorealistic rendering in Rhino CAD software.

THE PROCESS

THE

PROCESS

Every PIECE IS CONCEPTUALIZED IN CAD.

Master objects are 3D printed and used to make a mold using urethane rubber. Concrete is caste into these molds, before being demolded and checked for flaws..

It's sanded and filed until the desired surface finish is achieved.

SHOP THE FULL COLLECTION

The concrete is taped and painted.
The bottom of each piece is stamped with a touch mark. Waterproof sealant is applied.
Each piece waits for a new forever home.

I'm working on a few new designs for some products I think you'll love. The first is a concrete ring cone. You can finally have a place for the rings you wear on a regular basis that doesn't feel cluttered and adds to your decor. The second is a modular trivet design. This version is for smaller pots and dishes on your table top and can be used in conjunction with other trivets to create a larger surface. I am also working on making a larger version of this for bigger dishes and pots. Keep an eye on my Instagram for more updates on the progress.
